JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The preschools in Ragunda municipality are looking for substitute teachers for their operations. We have four preschools in Stugun, Överammer, Hammarstrand, and Bispgården. To increase knowledge exchange between the preschools and to offer more hours to you as a substitute, we are primarily looking for someone who can work at several preschools in our municipality.

This job is perfect for you who are curious, want to develop, and enjoy varied tasks. It is a job where you are an important part of creating a safe and learning environment for the children together with engaged colleagues. Regardless of which operation you work in, you are tasked with being a good role model, supporting, and guiding.

In Ragunda municipality, we work for quality throughout the entire educational chain. We are part of a small organization, which means closeness to colleagues across the municipality and quick decision-making paths. You provide the children with the support and stimulation they need for their learning and continued development, based on the preschool curriculum, school law, and municipal goals.

The working hours as a substitute can vary from day to day as you work when there is a need in the operation. Some weeks you may work a lot, while other weeks it may be just a few hours. You need to be able to come at short notice when regular staff are absent.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone who is a trained preschool teacher. But do not hesitate to apply even if you do not have formal education.

To work within the preschool operations, you are required to provide a certificate from the Criminal Records Register § 22. We are looking for someone who is flexible and we place great importance on good interpersonal skills.

Previous experience working in a preschool is an advantage.

As a preschool teacher, you have the ability to work with other people; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and acknowledge and reward the contributions of others. You also have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. You encourage and support initiatives for change. You find it easy to adjust your behavior according to the needs of others.
